Sign-Up Genius for Conferences   Safety Patrol Information from Mrs. Fiesbeck: Dear Families, If your child has any interest in participating in Safety Patrol this year, please have them attend an informational meeting with Mrs. Fiesbeck (Room 107) on Tuesday, October 1st at 8:15am. If, after hearing about how Safety Patrol will work this year, your child is interested,  this form  will need to be completed before they will be given a post. Forms need to be completed by Friday, October 4th. On Tuesday, October 8 from 3:55pm-4:15pm there will be a Kickoff Meeting in Mrs. Fiesbeck's classroom. Sign-Up Genius for Conferences   I encourage you to talk with your child about all they learn from our math and reading lessons! In math, we have been reviewing third-grade standards in adding and subtracting large numbers during our Bear Time. Next week, we will begin the fraction review. Once students master these standards, they work on their plans in IXL NWEA test prep. This is what I explained at the Back-to-School Night presentation. In addition, we are learning about comparing fractions. This is a 4th-grade standard. This standard practice will continue for several weeks.   Hello Lincoln Families, This week we begin our new reading program called EL Education and Mystery Science! This will be our first full week of school with 4th-grade academic rigor. It may be an exhausting week for some of our kiddos. So it will be important that they get a good night's sleep! Also, remember to pack a quick "to go" snack (please no yogurt, applesauce, or snacks that could spill:) and a water bottle. Thank you for your consideration. I encourage you to have a conversation with your child about all they are learning from our math lessons or something new they are learning in our classroom!  It's a pleasure to come into the classroom daily and get to know these amazing 4th graders!
