  Music:  The 4th-grade performance is on Tuesday at 1:05. Students should wear red, white, and blue and bring their music and recorders to school. The night time performance will be on Wednesday at 5:45 at the high school. Students should plan to arrive at 5:35, wearing red, white, and blue and with their music and recorders. They should stay with their parents until they are called to the stage by Mrs. Richards at the start of the performance at 5:45. All are welcome to attend!  Lansing Trip:  We will visit Lansing on Friday, May 2nd. Due to the length of the day, we wanted to get some information out to you ahead of time.   MStep Testing:  There has been a change , and MStep language arts testing will begin on  Tuesday(April 8 )  when we return from break. Due to this change, we have been practicing on the online site. If you want your child to continue practicing at home or you r  child is absent next week, here is the  link . Just follow the prompts for  sample item sets for  4th-grade language arts. There is a typed essay, so we will practice planning and writing the essay on paper first to keep things similar to what we have been doing in class. Then, we will type the essay by transferring it from our written drafts. The math test will begin on  Tuesday, April 22nd.  Please avoid absences on these two days.   Lansing Trip: If your child is participating in GOTR,  it was brought to our attention that the Girls on the Run race is the same day as our Lansing trip. Since we have to plan this trip a year in advance, there's no way to know about other events. However, we plan to leave Lincoln by 7:30 a.m., so if you plan to chaperone the trip, you should be able to leave Lansing with your daughter and have plenty of time to make it to the race.  More details to follow.   Report Cards:  Report cards went home on Friday. Remember, any standard graded below a "3", your child will continue to get extra practice individually or in small groups through the next trimester. The expectation for a "3" is by the end of the year. Please send back the envelope signed and keep the report card.
