Hello Lincoln Families,

The 4th grade won the Penny Wars! We will celebrate with an extra recess this Thursday, May 29th in the morning. Students can bring their special "outside toy" that morning. This includes bikes, scooters, rollers blades. Great job!

As we close this wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership. Your encouragement at home, your involvement in your child's learning, and your trust in our classroom have been invaluable in making this year successful and memorable. Together, we have created a nurturing environment where our students have grown academically, socially, and emotionally. It has been a joy to watch each child flourish, and I am truly thankful for the collaboration between home and school that made this possible. Thank you for being such an essential part of this journey. I look forward to seeing all the amazing things our students will accomplish in the years ahead!

Snacks in the Classroom

Please ensure that everyday snacks are quick and easy for your child to handle. For example, avoid using yogurt, pudding, uncut fruit, or messy items as daily snacks. This avoids spilling on school devices, furniture, new carpet, etc. These snacks work better in the lunchroom. Thank you for your understanding. 

Birthdays

We love to celebrate birthdays! Students who would like to celebrate birthdays in our class should bring non-food items, such as pencils, instead of cupcakes. Sometimes, parents put together little gift bags. These are just ideas. There is no obligation to send anything!

  Music:  The 4th-grade performance is on Tuesday at 1:05. Students should wear red, white, and blue and bring their music and recorders to school. The night time performance will be on Wednesday at 5:45 at the high school. Students should plan to arrive at 5:35, wearing red, white, and blue and with their music and recorders.   M-STEP Math Test will begin on  Tuesday, April 22nd.  Please avoid absences on these two days. Makeups will be the following Wednesday. Thank you for your consideration.   End-of-Year Countdown: We have planned a small activity based on the alphabet each day to celebrate the final days of school . Students will enjoy a new letter-themed challenge each day , leading to a joyful celebration to wrap up the year on a high note! We need some items to help with the celebration.   Spring Conferences :  Spring conferences are held on an as-needed basis. I have emailed parents to notify them if we need a conference. If you didn't receive an email and would like a conference, please email me, and we can schedule a time. Conferences will be on Thursday, February 20th. All students are working on their student-led conference slides and goals and will present them. Students with no conference scheduled will present them at home to earn extra yards!  Kindness Party :  On Friday, February 14th, we will have our Kindness Party! The party will be from 2:00-3:00. We will not need parent volunteers. We will have light snacks, and if students want to participate in trading "Valentine" cards, the list of students is below.
